Topic: Fueling question

If you're a Fireman (actual profession - not a volutneer) and you bring all your bunker gear to include SCBA can you fuel wearing that or do you have to wear the racing suit????

I'm asking this for a friend...

Rules say driver gear. That means the rat enforcement crew will be wanting to see driver gear.

Besides, I've put that shit on before - the nomex is easier.

I think somewhere in the rules, Jay et al have explicitly x-nayed fireman/military gear.

So no go on the totally servicable, but non-racewaear get up.

Yeah, we'd go insane trying to research certifications on non-race gear. It's hard enough as it is.

That said, you might try calling Jay and asking him. Maybe he's an expert on firefighter gear.

I've pretty much reiterated that to my friend... I got the "This means I have to pull out the suit I haven't worn in years..." statement. To which I replied "you can't beat the Pyrotech/Lemons deal!"
