It be better if they left it a diesel. as a Gas tow vehicle i estimate about 6 mpg.

A friend of mine had one of those with the 460. He used it to pull a 40' camper. Two fuel tanks are not optional. He could get 200-225 miles per fillup. A whapping 5mpg. It pulled like it meant business.

Then there was the time the two left tires came off the rear while towing. He found out that Geico will drop you if actually make a claim. That was ugly. Lawyers and everything.

Car & Driver did an expose on that back in the '90s. Doesn't surprise me if they still do it. The company that advertises hardest usually has the worst product.
