Clamp it between two 2x4's and use a third 2x4 and a hammer to gently bend the metal.

You're not living until you use wood in your suspension...like us.
I'm surprised you all missed it - PVC from TAP or other plastic vender - plenty flammable (but only as much as anything oem left in the car), works like wood, can be either glued or pop-riveted!
~and you can bend it/form it in the oven or with a heat gun... almost same methods as bending metal on the cheap.
