The ironic thing is that they're all FWD Eldorado's.

Why is there a cop car towing a boat trailer in the background of the boss hog pic?
[/threadjack]
Actually if they were smart they would have always towed a boat behind the Hazard County Police cars since at least twice a show they would end up in a pond, or river, or lake.

No. Boss Hogg's is a '69 Coupe DeVille with a 472. Sweet car!
Don't cross the Duke!

I raced the 94 seville at Summit this year. Our team is pimpalicious.
We rebuilt the entire top end and researched the hell out of the car. It then blew up after 33 laps.
Northstars just make crap engines. There is an inherent design flaw that all headbolts from 94-02 were 1/2" too short. The engines always failed (for the most part) at about 140-180k miles. There is literally an entire industry on fixing these crap engines.
Noted. Besides with all the spare SBC we have... we are really looking for a car to utilize them.
The king Richard the v8 is a 79-84 Cadillac 4dr these guys drove down from Seattle to.Thunderhill in August 800 mile trip raced the whole race and finished with a slipping Trans was There only issue.
The gimp pimp sts has had serious issues with brakes. Now they got brembo 4 piston caliper now so brake hopefully fixed. Blew motor due to not checking oil and.car.sat for 7 years before race
We have a individual very interested in racing with us but really wants/needs a bigger car. So the question is... who has/does run a big=boat Caddy and what kind of heat can we expect from driving such a pimptastic creation?

You don't have to exaggerate, Chris! We could never afford Brembos, so we went with Wilwoods. And we topped off the fluids AND made sure the caps were back on. We're still working on getting first gear back. It's weird going from 0-70mph without a gear change.
EDIT: I was going to post a picture of the new brakes, but I guess you'll just have to wait for the race.
I don't know how you'd keep the chandeliers from flying off at one very turn.....
Snake Plissken: Where's the President?
Cabbie: The Duke got him. Everybody knows the Duke's got him. You don't have to put a gun to my head. I'll tell you.
Snake Plissken: Who's the Duke?
Cabbie: The Duke? The Duke of New York, A-Number-1, the Big Man, that's who!
Snake Plissken: I wanna meet this Duke.
Cabbie: You can't meet the Duke! Are you crazy? Nobody gets to meet the Duke. You meet him once and then you're dead!

You're assuming this thing will take turns... ROFL
No matter what we do it will have awesome brakes (maybe)... as much power as we can squeeze without grabbing attention and a stock suspension.
