Re: Gulf Region battle is over: Race Hard Race Ugly wins!

Woo-hoo ... top 25! Not bad for a one car team that only did 3 of the 5 races. Might make us rethink skipping the heatstroke-fest that is going to be Houston in June.

Summer's Eve Racing - '09 Yee-Haw; '10 Gator-O-Rama, NorDal Hooptie, Yee-Haw; '11 Gator-O-Rama, NorDal Hooptie (Winner, Class A!)

Here's the Gulf Region Top 25 for 2010:

Just recalculated the standings for the Gulf region, and Race Hard Race Ugly managed to pull past Red Rocket Ratnest Revival for the regional championship. Prior to the Laissez Les Crapheaps Roulez, it looked like the Ratnests had the Gulf nailed down, but their Yamaha finally gave up and the RHRU BMW took the win on laps.

Those 3 points per start (which apply only to regional, not overall, standings) really helped some teams in the Gulf (e.g., Live Oak Nudist Resort), especially those with multiple cars.

I believe Kentucky Fried Racing should be up there as well.  We had 4 starts, with a 9th and 10th place equaling 15 points?
