Topic: e10 fuel

not particularly Lemons related, except that the car is a '71 MGB... it has a fuel leak at the sending fuel gage sending unit. does anyone know of a good way of sealing it?

Pete over at Killer Bee's racing will know how to fix it. He is the MGB Master tech. His car flipped at Thunderhill last year and he rebuilt it from the ground up. Look him up. Sparky Pete at Killer Zombies

Re: e10 fuel

They all leak there
A new fuel sender gasket is required, cheap.
Plan on replacing the holding ring when you go for it 'cause you WILL bugger the old one.
If not that then the plastic insulator for the wire pass-through died, but that is unlikely. If the unlikely did happen, new sender, more money, same procedure.

We all love smelly old gas. Is that eu 'd octant 89 you're wearing... have fun!
