Topic: So, who else is celebrating that age old tradition...

By towing dead cars in Christmas Eve?

Got notice today that, thanks to a Jeff Parish ordinance I wasn't allowed to store a couple cars in the parking lot of the warehouse they've been living at for about a year and had about 96 hours to move them.

A U-Haul tow dolly, a broken electic winch (screw you harbor freight, screw you), two broken air machines at two different gas stations, a can of fix a flat, a missing ignition key, and a makeshift come-along fashioned from a tow strap later they're at least on my street in front of the house and "mostly" safe from towing (Orleans is lazy) for at least a few days.

Now I just have to drag them into the garage. The last 30 feet is always the hardest though, right?

Merry Christmas y'all smile

Do what my guy did up in CT, tag them.

I bought a parts car Thursday and enlisted my whole family to help push it off the trailer/into the driveway on Christmas Eve.  Does that count?

The front end was hit hard and pushed over about 8" to the passenger's side.  It will be fun to get the engine & trans out...

Must be nice....I put snow tires on my car on Christmas, out in the cold.  Then the storm missed us.  So I took them off last night at 10pm...in the cold.  Ready to drive to Florida and get away from the winter for a while.
