Topic: Autocross Testing opportunity just prior to the Pointless race

Competition Sports Car Club will be hosting an autocross at the Stockton site on March 20. That's the Sunday just prior to the Sears Pointless race. We're an independent club so most of the serious autocrossers will be at other events in the Bay Area.  This means that there will be lots of time for testing. We've even invented a Lemons class for teams that want some cheap seat time.

Here's what we're planning: Enter a Lemon team for $20/car and $5/driver. There will be a test only group 1st thing in the morning so you can make repairs/adjustments before your official group. This group is like Buck-a-lap fun runs, you enter the event, etc., then pay $1 at the start line. Then we'll do the run groups. Lemons cars are in two of the four groups. Then, if there's time, more Buck-a-lap fun runs at the end of the day. This gives you enough seat time to blow up your car without even being passed by the Eyesore team.

Most of he CSCC members are also part of the FIREKATz Lemons team. We're the Firebird that caught fire at Denver last year. More importantly, we're "5 time losers" so we can offer some advice for you if you're on a new team, etc. Our reborn Phoenix/Firebird will also be there.

You can get more info at our website, click "events" to see the flyer at  www.csccautox.com  or email me,  Mr. Bob at mrbob73@sbcglobal.net

We'll try to make it. I'll try to get Alan to bring "Iffy". Let the Opel wars begin!
