Topic: Camping at Nelson Ledge

I have a question about camping.

We have a RV and a couple of the other drivers are bringing theirs, what do we get for the race?  Is it 6 drives one spot?  Or 6 drivers 6 spots?  Is it like a real campground or a parking spot?

Since its infield camping its probably not a good place to keep the childrens with cars running 24 hours I am guessing...

Anyone have any pics?

Re: Camping at Nelson Ledge

There are no 'spots' per se at Nelsons.  The infield / paddock is a giant emply mown grass field with a few gravel roads.   Cars will be pitted / paddocked anywhere in the field.  Refueling will be done in a central location near 'pit out'. All other repairs & tire changes will take place  out in the open paddock area

Bottom line - you can pit anywhere you want in the infield. If you concerned about the kids getting run over just set up camp as far away from traffic as possible.

You may want to go to the Nelson Ledges site and look at some of the arial photos.
