Topic: Automatic weapons wanted--Reno/Fernley
Anyone out there got any really big automatic guns? We, er, need them for something.
Contact me off-forum if you've got access to that sort of thing.
nick at 24hoursoflemons.com.
Thanks!

Oh crap.

If i was you guys I would go in right away when you get black flagged.
I can see it now, the Arcade Penalty:
Put a target on top of your car and drive up and down the pit lane while your teammates fire the automatic weapons at you! You can win a coupee doll or an ambulance ride to Reno! Whose bringing the flak jackets?
I can foresee some serious awesomeness in this.......Hmmm might have to make a few calls
Maybe we can get The Gun Store in Vegas to sponsor us for the weekend....? They got good stuff.......
Is close by and has "rental" guns you would be interested in....
http://www.safeshotindoorrange.com/Home.aspx
Is located in Reno and has some "applicable" weapons.....
I smell something awesome cooking!
It's going to be fun!
Should I bring my S&W 7-shooter?
I hope there will be enough propane tanks or other explosive materials...

Actually, it's either militia or Texas. Or, both.

Even worse. Washington State.
(just kidding guys. I love your ride and am bummed I am missing out on what sounds to be an epic event. Drive fast and take chances.)
Calico Arms M100 full of a zillion rounds of 22, or an M50 with only half a zillion rounds of 9mm?
I used to be able to source either, but not so much now... Sorry.
Never heard back from Nick, so I'm just going to bring an M4 and a Springfield '03 and call it good.

I got the Calico 9mm rifle (100 rounds) but no auto.
They have a shooting range right in the paddock...

You guys are not helping us to keep Speedycop in MD so he can heal... DAMN YOU!!!
LoL... I smell EPICNESS a-brewin!!!
I do have access to a full auto AK 47, but I'd want to know a little more about what the goal is here. Do I need to supply ammo, who'd be shooting it, etc. Oh, Nick...?

oh man, you needa try it full auto. the barrel stays super level and the whole thing raises up about four inches (I have big arms, too),
We did gun handling long ago for hollywood - the 9mm was used in "I come in peace" and with full flash blanks makes for a great flame-thrower!
~only got to do 15-20 rounds full auto at the Beverly hills gun club (oddly in Santa Monica) when we were on the set of Maniac Cop 2. The range wouldn't let us do more than 2-3 second bursts. My bud managed to hit all of the lights in one firing... as in everything from the target to the booth that was on the ceiling. Laughed hard at his ass.
I also know a guy in Marin collects military vehicles and has a 50 on his deuce-and-a-half, but I don't think we can afford the Diesel from there to Fernley.
Would a repeating polish cannon suffice?

Something like this in store?
Nick - are you familiar with Tannerite? If not, it's well worth it to look it up on google/youtube - just sayin'
Rifles, what a snore. Someone needs to bring a Katyusha.
