Topic: Richmond Area People Please Help!!! - Stolen Scooter

Yes, I know it's not Car Stuff, but this one's kind of important:

A friend's Black & Silver Genuine Buddy 125 was stolen some time last night.

Her message as follows:

Alix Bryan - MY SCOOTER HAS BEEN STOLEN. IF YOU SEE IT, IT IS A BLACK BUDDY, LICENSE PLATE 484923. STOLEN FROM 3117 GRAYLAND AVENUE in Richmond, VA.

What makes this one a little different is that Alix rode this bike around the country (22,000 miles) and made stops along the way to form a giant PEACE Symbol. The bike is literally *covered* in signatures (mine included) stickers & memorabilia from around the country.

I'll keep an eye out when I pass through Richmond on the way to CMP. The chances of running into, of all things, a stolen scooter on the highway at 3AM are slim to none, but it's worth the thought anyway.

Alix Bryan - OH MY GOD. WHAT A CRAZY DAY. I JUST GOT HOME. SCOOTER WAS FOUND A
FEW MINUTES AGO. WIND SCREEN IS BROKEN AND CARB FLOODED. BUT SHE'S BACK WITH
MAMA! I THINK IT HAPPENED BECAUSE ALL OF YOUR KIND THOUGHTS! THANK YOU!

On top of that, they did a news story about the increasing number of scooter
thefts in Richmond centering around Alix's bike.
