Topic: I missed the Pacific Northworst, but I just witnessed Pike's history
This was seriously cool. Yes, I have internet on the mountain.

I see a theme there.
The 10 min barrier has been broken but more of the mountain is paved than dirt than previous close records. I'll mak it to pikes some day to spectate but it isn't as high a priority now that so much is paved compared to before. I'm planning to head to bonneville first.
I know the SX4 and that is in no way a Suzuki SX4
I just love watching this incar from the hillclimb last year.

A while back I mentioned that there was a dead Delorean and a dead Jensen Interceptor in driveways a couple houses apart near me. Both are at the top of a hill and a thought came to mind. What about holding the Lemons DTCC reverse hillclimb? (DTCC = Dead Touring Car Championship) We tow shitboxes to the top of a hill and see which ones can glide down the fastest unpowered. Tech the cars by removing the oilpan to show you haven't filled the motor with mercury or something. The hill that these 2 are on has a real nasty turn with single armco on the outside about halfway down the hill. That would be exciting in the donk.
Sorry to hijack your thread Phil.
It is indeed a Suzuki SX4. Modified beyond recognition, but technically still an SX4.
I was there in 94 when they were running the all-singing-all-dancing Toyota Celica... and the time was like 10:04
Wow...

Sure it is, it's just got a couple dealer installed factory options.....
