Topic: The Judges still need a drag-race-ready Judgemobile for Lousiana!

Mean ol' Jay has been totally adamant about his fun-killing "no rental cars on the dragstrip" rule (even after we promised to push the carcass out on the highway and lie to the rental-car company about what happened after we bash the guardrail and roll the Nitro into a ball), which means we still need a vehicle we can run in the Saturday Night Lemons Drags at No Problem Raceway. Got some beater-ass hoopty sunk up to its axles in the swamp? Chase the cottonmouths out, fire it up, and bring it to the race! We'll use it as the Judgemobile for all those Macho Man and Hero Parade penalties, and then we'll blow it up on the dragstrip! We don't care what it is, as long as it starts, stops, and can pass the (incredibly lenient) tech inspection at the drag strip. You'll get a Get Out Of Penalty Box Free card and probably a jug or two from the Baksheesh Table.

Yeah! And another thing, Yeah!

"This is the scene where I get shot," Bronson said. "I have these little squibs that explode to make it look like bullets are hitting." "Fascinating," said Bergman. "I never knew how they did that." "You mean," asked Bronson, "you don't use machine guns in your movies?"

You get our hopes up and then destroy them like this? Get that car!

So, now that the Mardis Gras Hearse appears to be an impossible dream, does any other team have a junker they want to let the Lemons Supreme Court use at No Problem?

Re: The Judges still need a drag-race-ready Judgemobile for Lousiana!

I am bring this if you want to use it.  Not as cool as a lemon and it's not going down the 1/4 mile but will get you around.

We are looking like crazy for an old car, will an old pick up do? I would say about a 5% chance on the hearse but the coats should be there.

Yes, that will suffice!

A pickup is fine.

We got you a Ford pick up for the weekend, drag race and all. I promise it will meet your expectations, actually you have no idea how much of a piece shit it is. It's nick name is the Lizard. I will try to include pictures on Thursday.

Excellent. You get bonus points if you rig up a windshield washer pump to spray bleach on the back tires, for better burnouts.

Let me know if you actually want and will use the LIZARD and I will try to convince my wife to drive it up there.

Co-worker has this:

in Amite, LA. He says it tops out at 35mph, and would probably have to start driving now to make NPR by Sunday Night post-race. Old Cherokee they took a sawzall to, then crashed it into a bunch of trees out on the back forty.
