Topic: palm beach miami pit situation

the details say pit assignments first come first serve.

are we allowed to refuel, change drivers and change tires on pit road?  i ask because at cmp last year we had to change tires in our paddock area.

are we allowed to work on the car at all on pit road, within reason, is there a time limit?

anything else i should know that i'm not asking?

luke

i'm pretty sure the 'hot pits' (if they have them at PBIR) would be limited to fueling, and driver changes only.  With that said, at this point there seems to be more questions than answers about PBIR in general.

I agree, fuel/driver change only has been the rule lately. Anything else, you go back to the paddock.

Re: palm beach miami pit situation

The answer to the hot pits question varies widely from track to track. At Houston, it is mandatory that you fuel in the hot pits and nowhere else (at least while the track is hot). At Sears Point, you couldn't use the hot pits at all, no way, no how, and all fueling was to be done in the paddock.

The only thing that is certain is that you won't really know the answer to this question until the driver's meeting on the morning of the first day of the race.
