Topic: e36's
Now that the 2010 schedule is out and the next round of car searching has begun, I am finding out that it is actually possible to get e36's in the sub-$800 range, leaving only $300 worth of parts to be sold to make it a $500 car.
I know that Matt Groner (he of Enzo fame) ran a slavaged one in March and got a 100 lap BS penalty. At what point are they going to begin to be quasi-acceptable (or believeable) as $500 cars? I know as recently as last month the Hon. Judge Martin said not to bring one (in the post about the salvaged e36 M3 in LA).
I know that there's a plethora of other options out there, but inquiring minds want to know ... especially those of us over 6'8" who fit better in newer/bigger cars.
