Here's my take.
Somebody builds a rad Z car and dominates the field sliding right into the jaws of some high powered demolition tractor.
It would be the first time that there was unanimous People's Curse vote.
Even the Z team would vote for themselves due to the guilt of the depth of their cheat...

I've got a Z car, and this challenge is nigh on too great to resist.. I'm thinking 4age(mr2) powered Z. What could possibly go wrong?
Hmm........lets make this a math formula...lets take the success record of Z's at Lemons (0) and add the success of the MR2 at Lemons (0).....granted I'm no math guy...but 0x0 squared is zero right?
However I do think its a totally cool concept!!
Sadly, the Wartburg has a better chance of winning than an MR2, Z, or any combination of the two.
An MR2 might win Lemons some day, because the MR2 only has one real flaw that must be overcome in order to stop failing at Lemons. I wouldn't bet on it, but I acknowledge the possibility.
A Z car will never win Lemons, because fixing one weakness just puts added stress on all the other weaknesses.

You guys should come out to Phoenix and help us dominate with a 1.2.3 finish of Z's. Our buddies team should be good enough to get a top 3 with us in their 300zx.
I think the world would end though if 2 Zs let alone 3 finished in the top 5 lol
This is like some amazing episode of Fantasy Island.

We don't laugh at the Z teams any more. They just make us depressed. Such enthusiasm on Saturday morning... such misery Sunday afternoon.
What's the issues with the SHO's? too expensive to fix once they do go kaput?
What if you take a MR2 chassis, put a SHO engine in it, and make a plywood body of a Z car...
Would that work or would that rip the very fabric of time and kill us all...?

Pheonix is a bit of haul for us too many guys have super tight work schedules and ass hole bosses most guys have a hard enough time getting the Friday before the race weekend off. But would be sweet to follow the whole tour. We are definitely going to do the California circuit. Good luck to you guys I know you guys did very well in Fernley, far better than we did.
I think that if you put the MR2 radiator on the roof they'd go quite nicely and have a lot better luck.
Putting a wall behind the radiator was kinda stupid on toyotas part.
a long while back i asked about running a Z32. sounds like they don't get Z for Zero. you guys totally ruined my fun
on that note, I'd totally run a roadster with someone!
