I'm holding a Fat Tire as we speak, but I can't be the only one who thinks Guinness tastes like a burnt turd?
If these guys imported to the USA, I'd be a happy guy...
Otherwise, Paulaner Hef, the latest homebrew, Guiness, Newcastle, and Bud Light to cook with.
Mmmmmmmbeeer!
FYI for you Yeungling fans it is now available in Georgia and we recently got Fat Tire as well
Drink what you like , I'm not a "beer snob" I just dont like fizzy yellow swill
Given my choice I'll have an IPA , Sweetwater Brewing here in Atlanta makes a damn fine one and their Extra Pale 420 Ale is Mighty tasty as well . Rrecently enjoyed another offering from the New Belgian Brewery (The Fat Tire Guys) called 2 Below, mighty tasty stuff...
I just realized that its entirely likely I'll spend more money on beer building our Lemons car than I wills spend on the actual car...Thats nucking futs and I love it

I am pretty sure I saw a bottle at Central Market... They have one of the best beer selections for a store that doesn't specialize in alchohol.

actually, you might be. although i prefer my guinness in "half and half" form, myself.
I still have one carefully guarded 12 pack of Fat Tire left!
Did we find fat tire up in New York around the Glen area? I remember having it and we weren't in the south or out in Lincoln...
After last year's trip to Louisiana, Abita has become a staff favorite (and a good bribe!)
Local brews for us! there ain't nothing like opening up the cooler you hauled 700 miles and popping a cold Polygamy Porter or A Slick Rock to quench your thirst.
Polygamy Porter. Why have just one? mmmm delicious

+1 Exactly!:D
Sorry, not a beer drinker. Sailor Jerry all the way...

Lager. I live less than an hour from the brewery in Pottsville, but still haven't gotten there.
I occasionally get magic hat variety packs.
Right now, a case of black and tan is in the fridge, cause the son doesn't drink dark beer.
And my all time least favorite? Corona. Tastes like Bud, but costs 35.00 a case.
This was a good brew as well:
Wow, I guess the lack of rednecks on this forum is overwhelming. I drink Bud Light almost every day regardless if I am working on a car or not. Keepin' it real is all. I can't drink all of those frilly beers like some of you. I have found something I like and I will probably drink that stuff until I die, InBev supporter I am.
drinking Bud Light is like smoking Marlboro Lights. Bud Light is a frilly beer, only real Buds in my cooler.
How about Powerglide Road Soda?

When I'm low or out of homebrew, I usually go for Sierra Nevada Pale Ale or Left Hand's Sawtooth Ale. Fat Tire, or even better O'Dell's 90 Schilling, might be regulars if I didn't live in a state that forbids refrigerated transport and storage of anything over 3.2% alcohol. Stupid old laws and distributors' lobbyists.
smackela wrote:The first time I saw the Bud Chelada was when I was out visiting friends in L.A. a few years back. I have to admit I was confused why anyone would try marketing a mixture of Clamato and beer, but for entertainment we each tried to down one of the 24 oz cans. I think I might have succeeded in putting down about 4 or 5 ounces.
My ex mother-in-law made her own Cheladas long before Bud ever sold it, so apparently there's a market.
I like to spend A few weeks in Mexico where a Michelada / Chelada are very popular with the locals,,, depending what part of Mexico you are in,, one is fresh squeezed lime juice, in an Ice filled salt rimmed glass...Then your beer of choice. Now this sounds like a bad idea to a hard core beer beer person, But it aint bad cocktail for sitting on the beach...Now that being said, I tried one of those bud or miller things in a Pizzeria here NY, I almost didn't finish it !
DIY:
If no home-brew is available, then Guiness, Mickey's, Sam Adams Scotch Ale, maybe a Porter if I see something interesting.
Our mechanic crew (myself and two others on here occasionally) are all partial to bud light or bud select, they like it, I drink it because I am trying to be less fat and the calorie difference between a 12 pack of select and a 12 pack of Drifter, Setlla Artolis, Arrogant bastard or a few bombers of Boulevard Double Wide IPA is huge, therefore I am back to traditional light beer for now. Or I drink pints of vodka and sugarfree redbull...there are advantages to having a full bar in your shop.
i like bud light but new castle is growing on me
MMMMmmmmm, BEEeeerrrr.....
Smithwick's (better pronounce it right!) and anything that Scott DeWinter (V8olvo driver) brings in his magic Styrofoam cooler. He always has some tasty weird stuff.. it is an adventure.
Oh and any decent beer that someone else buys.....
