I just hope it stays running.

it won't.

i think a Starion Turbo/Conquest TSi is probably the ultimate "sounds good on paper, but is horrible in real life" idea.

No, that would be the Subaru SVX, followed by the Eagle Talon TSi AWD (and siblings) and Merkur XR4Ti.

see, none of those seem as fast on paper as the StarQuest (Conquestion?) especially for those of us who were about 10 years old when they were new.  and none of those are quite as putrid in real life....you can't even rely on one to get you to 7-11, let alone through an entire Lemons race.

although Rob did talk the rest of us out of a cheap AWD Eclipse with predictions of the crank walking itself home.

Re: The most hopeless Lemons marque: Mitsubishi!

I did find a local 1990 Talon AWD for cheap...............but I already have my hands full keeping the "estate" running....  But talons ran 11psi STOCK....pushing that type of boost through a 150k+ engine for two days is asking alot of a crapcan......shoot I can't keep the estate alive at ZERO boost :>(

Re: The most hopeless Lemons marque: Mitsubishi!

My teammates were pushing to engine swap a turbo Mitsu motor into a Hyundai. I was fortunate enough to nix that one. However, my single vote for the Pulsar NX was defeated by the three votes for the XJ6.
