What did y'all use to adhere the carpet to the car?
3M spray adhesive, works like a charm.

How much?
Now you try to make the car better and attempt to win!
I still think we should seriously consider the 6 cylinder outboard motor conversion.
I vote for a turbodiesel.
This:
More like this
or
Intake and Carbs on the crankcase. Yes, those are the cylinders and heads at the bottom.
I am totally ALL ABOUT an outboard conversion. I really wanted to do this, please do it for me.
L47 in the back.
V8 or die.
It's french, so do what the french do best:
Start Saturday as Pepe, then around lunch time, re-theme to match the fastest E30 on the track. Then on overnight, re-theme again, this time to match the fastest SHO.
Has anyone ever re-themed during a race to match a rival car?

Good question. We'll get back to you shortly with an answer.
And no, it's not the one I blew up. This one still resides in what's left of its' original home

The Barack Obama Change You Can Believe In Penalty (counterpart to the McCain's Uphill Slog Penalty) we had before the election last year involved forcing teams to completely re-theme their cars. The "Dancing Queen" Saab 900 became the "Leaky Queen Exxon Valdez," and the re-theme was very well done (the Swedish Chef doll became Captain Hazelwood, and so on).
Hahahahah, thats awesome.

I can see it now. Le Sheaux Car.

I've had this exact idea in the back of my head for months. An Evinrude powered Mercury Lynx would be ideal. I guess I should just try and survive my first event first. See you in Chicago!
Electric car's haven't won yet...juss sayin.
