Re: Lemons at SEMA!
They forgot to mention the *1,000* zip ties.
Fixed.
If God meant for us to race, we'd all have baggy Nomex skin.

Which booth?
Our car is in the north hall, just inside the front entrance. Somewhere around 13000

I feel sorry for the poor owners of the nice cars next to us.
We heard the owner of the Camaro to our left (not pictured) ask if he could move his car hahah
That is awesome in so many ways.

This needs quoting. I think it's hilarious that the guy wanted to be moved. Was he afraid that real racin' was going to scare his motor?

Probably just feeling insecure since that car is probably trailered everywhere and not been taken over 25 since it was restored.
It's actually a brand new Camaro, but a complete show queen.

I have it on good authority the complaint was lodged due to the fact our POS was showing up in pictures of his car, reflected in the paint...
HAHAHAHA
I am *SO* bummed - I wish I could have been there. Dang NACE for moving their show away fron Industry Week
Favorite SEMA car ever .....by far.
I think Prickstine is the most tastefully modded car to appear at SEMA ever, plus it isn't deathly afraid of asphalt and natural sunlight.

Bummer that it didn't mention Lemons.
Bummer that it didn't mention Lemons.
"Prickstine" is an '87 BMW 325E built as Lemons race car tribute to "Christine" the '58 Plymouth made famous in the Steven King movie of the same name. The car isn't pretty, but it does have a sense of humor. Take, for example, the front bumper: Look closely and you will see that shiny substance is, yes, tin foil.
Yeah, they could have elaborated - but they did mention it.
They didn't say anything about its glorious racing heritage. How could that have missed that? And they call themselves journalists.
Not only was the Prickstine there representing, but these art pieces found in the central lobby look mighty familiar to the trophies that Lemons racers have been winning for years.
Much better strip pictures forthcoming, but here is an iPhone sneak peak.
So. Much. Fun.
You pulled up short just so that trailer queen would be in that last shot, didn't you?
(then again, it IS an open trailer, and it DOES have plates, so it's not as bad as it could be)
lol at that 2nd shot.
friggin' rad.
